Employment Coordinator

We are looking for a full-time Employment Coordinator to join our team. This is an entry to intermediate level position that requires full-cycle recruiting experience. The Employment Coordinator will work independently and also support department managers with hiring for all branches throughout North America.

Main Responsibilities

  • Offer a welcoming on-boarding experience for new hires
  • Execute full-cycle recruitment, including uploading job postings, screening resumes, shortlisting candidates, conducting phone interviews, in-person interviews, reference checks, and creating employment offers
  • Draft, format and revise documents, including job descriptions, job postings, employment agreements, and forms, policy and memos etc.
  • Coordinate with department managers to schedule interviews and start dates
  • Assist onboarding new employees
  • Process background checks for new employees
  • Track probationary period end dates and collect performance reviews from department managers
  • Conduct exit interviews as part of the off boarding process
  • Handle staff inquiries via e-mail and phone, and in-person
  • Prepare employment verification letters and immigration documentations upon request
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in an office environment
  • 1 year of previous recruitment experience and/or HR related discipline is preferred
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills & deadline driven
  • Ability to conduct phone conversations in a professional and clear manner with various parties
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Proficient in MS Office
