• ACS Cashier Interface

Used on NCR DynaKey™, the advanced user interface is easy for the cashier to see and use. Leveraging concepts such as multi-pathing and post-item modification, these concepts allow cashiers to operate the way they intuitively think. This results in reduced training and calls for assistance, increased cashier confidence, and increased productivity. • Web-enabled Customer Information Display

With a Web-enabled Customer Information Display (WebCID) your customers can easily view their transaction information. The WebCID supports scrolling receipt, running total and tax, date and time, and integrated weight, combining all customer information in one easy-to-read location. WebCID reduces interruptions to the checkout process, enabling a faster checkout.

Access from Anywhere in the Store

To increase time spent with customers, ACS offers Mobile Retail Manager, giving store managers interactive access to back-office applications from anywhere in the store via lowcost wireless handheld terminals. Functionality includes: PLU maintenance, reset password, add operator, change merchandising message, store sales summary report, cash drawer position report, department summary report, item movement report, terminal and operator productivity reports, remote authorization, cashier monitoring and system alerts.

• SQL Database Support

ACS uses the Microsoft® MSDE database for data storage, which is provided with ACS at no cost. In addition to providing powerful search capability, the database simplifies the process of integrating third-party applications.

• POSLog Transaction Data Log

ARTS IXRetail developed the XML-based POSLog to allow quick, low-cost integration with POS data. By creating a standard POSLog (TLOG), ACS provides best-of-breed selection and flexibility of third-party applications designed for the POSLog standard. IXRetail POSLog requires no special integration software, reduces implementation costs and allows you to easily enhance or extend ACS.

• OPOS Peripheral Support

By using the OPOS standard method for communicating with POS peripherals, the process of supporting new devices is greatly simplified for ACS.
