TeamPOS 3000 Series
The TeamPoS 3000 is based on Intel Corp.’s embedded technology and can use either the Intel® Pentium® M or Intel® Celeron® M processors to create a high-performance, low-power solution. Intel’s processors help efficiently process multiple customer service applications simultaneously and enhance the operational quality of the POS system, producing advanced features such as rich graphic displays and faster checkout, enhancing the in-store shopping experience.
The redesigned chassis of the TeamPoS 3000 offers easy access to major components from the front, and does not require removing cables. This allows store personnel to easily replace components – even hard drives – reducing dispatched service calls and retailers’ downtime and maintenance costs. The TeamPoS 3000 also continues Fujitsu’s “SmartPoS” concept introduced in 2003 that uses firmware to manage hardware and peripheral components either on-site or remotely by Fujitsu’s lifecycle services organization.
New SmartPoS peripherals for the TeamPoS 3000 are completely USB-based for quick, easy peripheral replacement and remote management, tracking and monitoring. Controllers for the TeamPoS 3000 are backward compatible with peripherals from the TeamPoS 2000, extending the ROI of the previous system and protecting a retailer’s prior investment.
