POS SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - Outside Sales
RESTAURANT POS sales positions available for: Vancouver, Regina, Saskatoon, Phoenix, Seattle
Looking for energetic and dynamic individuals that are self-starters, willing to learn and enthusiastic about sales and the POS industry. Successful candidates will understand POS products and demonstrate abilities to make and access cold calls, follow up on quality prospects and company generated leads, perform demos, close deals plus maintain as well as strengthen customer relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the profitable sales of our solutions portfolio of products including hardware, software, professional services and maintenance
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of products and how they apply to customer’s needs
- Manage quote and sales activity in order to retain and grow the existing book of business
- Qualify and develop business leads
- Plan and participate in networking opportunities including tradeshows and client visits
- Stay abreast of business environment to maintain a high level of awareness of activity of customers, prospects, and competitive system users
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Team player with goal-oriented personality
- High ethics and standards
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation skills
- In-depth understanding of integrated business systems
- Understanding of clients business processes and how the systems can improve their processes and profitability
- Able to analyze client’s business and sell using ROI
- Demonstrate prospecting skills and ability to build customer relationships
- Accountable for building relationships with prospective and competitive customers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Trained on the principles of Solution Selling
- Sales success in a technology related industry
- Experience in the retail grocery and/or hospitality industry a plus
Compensation will be a combination of salary and commission, based on experience and qualifications.

POS HARDWARE FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN (Services)
BRITISH COLUMBIA: Vancouver, Victoria

Responsibilities include on-site servicing of a wide variety of POS equipment, including cash registers, scales, scanners, Pc’s, touch terminals, and printers. A solid background in electronics, PC repairs, good mechanical skills, A+ certification are essential.
The ideal candidate will be an organized self-starter with excellent English communication skills, combined with a solid technical ability and sound understanding of computers and networking. Software aptitude for program setup, configuration, and support will be considered an asset. Candidates will be subject to security clearance.
Essential Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Must be Bondable
- Should possess strong computer hardware knowledge
- Must have an understanding of Windows-based operating systems
- Must be a strong team player with a desire to learn
- Must have the ability to identify and resolve obstacles
- A+ Certification would be a definite asset

HOME CENTRE & INVENTORY CONTROL SOFTWARE SUPPORT, INSTALLER AND TRAINER (The Retail Controller TRC THEOS operating system)
SASKATCHEWAN: Saskatoon
General Requirements
A working knowledge of computers and THEOS operating system is an asset, with an ability to learn and understand proprietary POS systems quickly. A positive friendly manger and customer service approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity is a necessity. The potential candidate(s) must have good communication skills, and be both self-motivated and work well in a close team environment. HOME CENTRE, HARDWARE or lumber store experience is a definite BONUS.
System Support Requirements
Trouble shooting skills with outstanding problem solving skills is a must. Candidates must have the aptitude to listen and effectively understand a situation with the ability to respond with clarity and professionalism. We require this individual to provide pleasant and professional customer service via telephone and remote access connections. This position does require travel (8-10 days per month) and on call dial in support during and outside of regular business hours (1 week per month rotation).
Training
The successful candidate(s) will be required to work with clients on site during installation and training and over the phone to resolve POS related problems/questions after the installation.
Training will be provided, including system setup, installation, customer training and support. Upon completion of training, the candidate(s) will be expected to manage several POS projects from the sales hand-off to live date. Successful candidate(s) must be able to travel and have a valid driver’s license.
