What is PCI Isolation?
An “isolated” POS system has only partial account numbers that have been “truncated” — that is, with many of the digits removed and replaced by zeros. POS systems that have only truncated account data are not “payment applications” according to PCI and Visa.

ISS45 contains a redesigned electronic payments interface that keeps all bank card data separate from the POS system, thus exempting users from PCI mandates and costs while eliminating the risk of card data breaches.
